Privacy policy
CAAT is committed to ensuring the security of the personal details of its supporters. Supporters' personal and financial details are held on a secure server and CAAT takes steps to keep data safe from unauthorised access, loss and destruction. Any data held in hardcopy form is shredded before disposal.
CAAT collects personal data in order to keep records of supporters' campaigning activities and donations and also provide supporters with any information they have requested. In addition, data may be used to keep supporters up to date with CAAT's activities. CAAT also collects data that helps it understand how supporters have heard about the organisation in order to help it with future promotional efforts.
CAAT does not share mailing lists with other organisations and offers supporters opportunities to opt-out of its mailing lists when asking for contact details. Supporters can also remove themselves from mailing lists or update their details by emailing us.
Security of financial information
CAAT's direct debits are processed by Rapidata who also host our VeriSign secured online direct debit pages. All details entered are held and transferred to CAAT securely and Rapidata are not permitted to use data except for the purposes of administering donations. Rapidata are not permitted to sell or rent any of the data to third parties.
CAAT uses PayPal to process credit card payments using VeriSign secured donation pages hosted by Artez Interactive (in partnership with Rapidata). CAAT does not retain any credit card details entered through this site, obtained over the telephone or sent on paper donation forms.

Subscriptions to CAAT News
Supporters subscribing to CAAT News should receive the magazine quarterly by post. If a copy of the magazine does not arrive when expected, or if supporters wish to update their address details or cancel their subscription, they can notify us by emailing us. Subscription to CAAT News is seen as a donation in support of our work and as such we do not provide refunds for cancelled subscriptions.
Delivery policy
We aim to send all goods bought through this website (for example greetings cards, diaries etc) within 10 working days of receiving the order - with the exception of goods ordered during the Christmas and New Year period when the office is closed. Goods will usually be sent by Royal Mail second class post and postage costs are included at the time of payment. In the unlikely circumstance that goods are not received within the stated time, enquiries can be made by emailing us. CAAT is happy to offer a full refund if it can be proven that the incorrect goods have been sent, or alternatively will make every effort to send the correct goods as soon as possible.
