New owners for the DSEi arms fair
Reed Elsevier has finally disposed of its five international arms fairs. The last three, including London's DSEi arms fair, were sold off at the end of May to Clarion Events. Learn more about DSEi
Reed Elsevier's sale of DSEi was entirely a result of ethical concerns and, as such, was a blow to those trying to portray arms fairs as a legitimate business area and was evidence of the strength and breadth of feeling about the issue. We now have to make this public distaste tangible to Clarion.
Clarion is new to the arms business, with its exhibition portfolio including The Betting Show, The Caravan and Motorhome Show and The Baby Show (four a year).
