This is the Campaign Against Arms Trade petition asking the Government to revise the clauses in the draft Constitutional Renewal bill that would allow politicians such as the Attorney General to halt fraud investigations simply by citing 'national security' and by doing so, stop any meaningful scrutiny by the courts or accountability to parliament. Campaign Against Arms Trade is working for the reduction and ultimate abolition of the international arms trade, together with progressive demilitarisation within arms-producing countries.
