10am: CAAT photo opportunity outside

10.30am: Token shareholders enter the AGM

1pm: AGM ends

The AGM is the one time in the year when BAE's board of directors have to face direct questions from shareholders. And they certainly have a lot of questions to answer. Through our actions at the AGM, CAAT will continue to highlight ongoing corruption investigations and attempts to put BAE's actions beyond the law.

BAE claims to have made "progress" on its "ethical" report but even top accounting firm Deloitte says that it could not provide assurance that BAE's programme would meet the requirements of the Woolf report. We will highlight why BAE's efforts to present itself as an ethical organisation are inherently contradictory and why the Woolf report is a flawed document.

In past years CAAT's presence at the BAE AGM generated much media interest and lots of people turned out to protest. Inside the AGM itself the question and answer session has been dominated by questions from CAAT token shareholders, placing the board under immense pressure. This year promises to be just as interesting.

Join our action

On the day of the AGM, CAAT supporters will once again have the opportunity to act as 'token shareholders' and participate in the meeting itself, asking a range of questions designed to hold the company to account. To join us asking questions on the day contact

The AGM itself starts at 11am, with doors opening at 10.30am. There will also be a photo and media opportunity by CAAT supporters outside from 10am.
