Why?

What?
An event for CAAT supporters to meet each other, learn, and get inspired!
Arrive promptly to hear Andrew Feinstein, South Africa's Mr Clean, who blew the whistle on BAE arms deals in his country. Take part in workshops which cover tackling arms industry spin, modern mercenaries, government liaisons with the arms trade and more! Gear up for a year's campaigning in the run up to the election with sessions on lobbying, talking about arms industry jobs, using the media and others.
The day will conclude with a panel of defence economist Paul Dunne and Greenpeace campaigner Louise Hutchins to ask: "Ending arms production: is the answer blowing in the wind?"
