CAAT Online Communications Co-ordinator (3 days per week)
25 January 2010
Thank you for your interest in the Online Communications Co-ordinator post. Please find below links to the job description and person specification, additional information about the vacancy, the application form and our Equal Opportunities statement and monitoring form. There are also links to background information: 'About CAAT' which gives information about our history, structure and work; a short introductory briefing about the arms trade; and 'CAATnews', CAAT's magazine.
If you would like to apply, please complete and return the application form (a CV is not an acceptable alternative) by 12 noon on Friday 26 February. We would be grateful if you could also return the Equal Opportunities monitoring form, although you are under no obligation to do so.
You may download the application form as a word document, or copy it from the webpage into another word processing package. Whichever you choose, please email your completed form to office(at)caat·org·uk or send a hard copy to me at CAAT, 11 Goodwin Street, London N4 3HQ, marking the envelope 'Private and Confidential'.
When completing the application form, please be aware that we will be shortlisting candidates by scoring applications against the person specification.
Interviews will be held on Thurs 25 March. Those shortlisted will be notified by telephone by the end of the preceding week. We are sorry but resources do not allow us to write to applicants who have not been shortlisted. If you have not heard by the end of Friday 19 March, please assume that you have not been successful.
It is hoped that the successful candidate will start in post at the beginning of May 2010. Please note, one of the three working days would need to be a Wednesday because this is the one day when all staff meeting together. We are open to flexible working and working from home, but would need the new staff member to work from the CAAT office for the first six months. Flexible working could then be discussed.
Thank you again for your interest in the post.
