2.) Join the Phone Co-op Scheme
The Phone Co-op is an ethical and environmentally responsible telephone and broadband service provider. By using the Phone Co-op you save money and help us raise funds, as they donate 6% of each CAAT supporter's bill! Visit the Phone Co-op website or call 0845 458 9000 for more details. Remember to quote 384/AF0302 to ensure CAAT benefits.
3.) Get sponsored for CAAT
Whether you feel like running a race, skydiving or doing something slightly less exhilarating you can help us raise vital funds. We can help you by providing sponsorship forms and tips on how to fundraise online. Contact Sally on sally@caat.org.uk or 020 7281 0297.
4.) Surf the web with Everyclick.com
Support CAAT whilst you surf by making Everyclick your search engine. Just go to Everyclick.com and select the Trust for Research and Education on the Arms Trade as your chosen charity. TREAT donates all proceeds to CAAT to help fund our educational and research work.
5.) Organise a fundraising event
Supporters' events have helped us to raise thousands of pounds in the past. Whether it's something you're already planning, or you have an event idea you'd like to discuss, get in touch today! Contact Sally on sally@caat.org.uk or 020 7281 0297.
6.) Invest Ethically
If recent financial events are encouraging you to start thinking more about your own finances, consider contacting Investing Ethically Ltd. for your financial advice - they will donate 10% of their commission to CAAT. Visit the Investing Ethically website or call (01603) 309020. Remember to mention CAAT!
7.) Volunteer with the Workers Beer Company
We always need volunteers to work with the WBC at some of the summer's most popular festivals, including Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds. You will gain free admission and be able to pitch your tent in the WBC village to take advantage of above average camping facilities! What's more, you'll get to hear your favourite bands whilst working alongside fellow supporters. The wages you earn will be donated to CAAT. Contact Sally at sally@caat.org.uk or 020 7281 0297.
8.) Recycle your mobile phone
The Trust for Research and Education on the Arms Trade (TREAT) has joined up with Greener Solutions to offer you a more environmentally friendly way to dispose of your unwanted mobile phones. TREAT receives £2 for each recycled phone and will donate all proceeds to CAAT's Research Programme. It won't cost you a thing – you simply need to send your phone/s off in a freepost envelope provided by CAAT. For more information or to order envelope/s today email sally@caat.org.uk or call 020 7281 0297. Alternatively post your phones to TREAT, Greener Solutions, FREEPOST, LON17592, Mitcham, CR4 3UZ. Don't forget to tell your friends!
9.) Buy CAAT greetings cards
Christmas may have been and gone, but CAAT greetings cards are suitable for use all year round and are a great way to raise awareness about our work. Order yours here.
10.) Remember CAAT in your Will
If you've resolved to write your Will this year, please consider making a lasting difference to CAAT by leaving a legacy to help fund our future work. There are several ways you can do this; please contact Sally on 020 7281 0297 to discuss the options.
