Arms Trade Issues - UKTI: Armed and Dangerous

UKTI's Defence & Security Organisation

The arms trade has a devastating impact on the lives of millions of people around the world. Yet the UK government continues to grant export licences to countries in conflict and to countries classified as being "of concern" in the government's own human rights report.

These sales are supported and promoted by a taxpayer-funded arms sales unit, UK Trade & Investment's Defence & Security Organisation (UKTI DSO).

CAAT is calling for the closure of UKTI DSO and an end to its functions.
